Without doubt, one of the up and coming leaders in the industry, Debbi Shaffer is outspoken, passionate and eloquent. A true advocate for the administrative profession, Debbi oozes professionalism and expertise but doesn't shrink from meeting issues that need to be dealt with head on.
Her knowledge of the industry is second to none and she has found her voice with the Audacious Admin. Her blog always touches a nerve and inspires or questions - I look forward to seeing it pop up in my timeline.
It was an honor to work with Debbi during this year's APW and I look forward to plenty more interactions moving forwards. Mark my words - she is one to watch!
Debbi is the commensurate executive assistant. She brings real passion and commitment to the role. Not only does Debbi take exemplary care of the executives she supports, she actively coaches and mentors those around her to continuously improve. A true pleasure to work with, always upbeat and positive, she has impeccable attention to detail. She take the friction away from her execs so they can focus on the task at hand. An invaluable member of the executive team!
I had the fortune of taking Debbi’s Travel Course through IAAP recently, and it was the best Webinar I have heard in a long time! Debbi had great tips for travel arranging – for before, during, and after the trip. I had to make arrangements for international travel for my executive to 2 countries and Debbi’s tips helped tremendously. I used many of her tips from having a travel folder to knowing the ATM charges in another country. The visa information she presented also helped a great deal and my executive had a smooth trip. I would definitely take another course of Debbi’s, due to her attention to detail on the subject being discussed.
I took Debbi's "Travel Planning for the Administrative Professional" session at the 2016 International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) Summit. As a dedicated Travel Coordinator for my company, supporting travel for 150+ team members, I felt that this course was incredibly helpful. Debbi went into great detail on travel planning and setting up your executives for success. No matter how much or how little travel you book, this course will benefit you! If you are looking for training from a top-notch Admin, look no further than Debbi.

Debbi recently presented a superb program to the Old Town Alexandria Chapter - International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). Her program on Best Practices:Making and Implementing International Travel for Your Executive/Executive Team was exactly the high quality, relative content needed for executive assistants!
Her presentation provided suggested travel tools, efficiency methods, suggestions for worst-case scenarios for the executive assistant whose primary task is to make certain his/her executive arrives at their destination, fully prepped and with little or no hassle on the travel portion of their journey.
Our chapter members and guests were thrilled to have this key program delivered by one of our own members, a member that truly knows the demands faced by today's executive and administrative assistants.
We can't wait to have her back to present another educational session to our members. She has a knack for presenting detailed and thorough information in a streamlined fashion for educational programs.
I recently attended the Travel Planning for the Administrative Professional webinar conducted by Ms. Shaffer. I immediately put into effect the information and tips provided and found they made the travel coordination process easier and I felt more confidant. The program was informative and pragmatic. The presentation provided suggested travel tools, international travel challenges, tips & tricks and helpful websites for administrative professionals. I thought it was terrific and the information invaluable.
